"Subjected to extensive ageing without a ‘flor’ yeast layer, Oloroso, which roughly translates to ‘fragrant’, is the darkest dry Sherry style renowned for its pronounced nutty, dried fruit qualities.
Maturation in rich Oloroso butts has delivered bold layers of coffee beans, sticky raisins, stem ginger and figs that all work in tandem with The GlenAllachie’s honey-rich house style.
We proudly present The Wood Collection at a high strength of 48% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing each unique spirit to speak for itself."

Bottled as a part of the Wine Series, this 11 Year old GlenAllachie was initially ma ex-Bourbon barrels before finishing in Premier CruClassé barriques. Bottled at 48%, it is from a limited global release of just 10,800 bottles.

"To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Series, we first expertly matured our spirit in American oak ex-Bourbon barrels. Subsequently, the whisky underwent additional maturation for over two years in wine barriques skilfully sourced by Master Distiller Billy Walker, imparting a distinctive twist onto the GlenAllachie spirit.
"These particular French oak barriques were procured from one of just five Premier Cru Classé chateaux located in the world-renowned wine region of Bordeaux, France. Top of the official Bordeaux wine classification, these estates are considered to produce wines of the highest quality and flavour. Maturation in casks which previously held such full-bodied red wine has imbibed our honeyed spirit with deep notes of black cherry and smooth espresso.
The resulting golden malt delivers a truly refined yet complex drinking experience."

"To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series, Master Blender Billy Walker first expertly matured our spirit in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before transferring the whisky into hand-selected European wine barriques for secondary aging. Billy added a distinctive twist to this release by ultimately blending four exceptional wine cask finishes into one unique expression: The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish.
"A French term, ‘Cuvée’ is used in the wine sector to reference a blend that typically comprises more than one variety of grape. Likewise, our 9-year-old Cuvée is a marriage of spirit from several fine wine casks sourced from the world-renowned regions of Bordeaux, Languedoc and Valpolicella.
The character development of each individual barrique was carefully monitored, before the whiskies were expertly blended together by Billy. The resulting golden liquid offers up elegant stone fruits, hints of toasted almonds and zesty orange peel on the palate."
