At the verge of two strikingly different landscapes, Szekszárd is a historic red wine-making region. The Heimann Family vineyards are located on the first hills of the Transdanubian Hills, also called the Pannonian Hills. Typical loess soils with lime particles lead to a ripe, mellow fruit profile with soft tannins and a fine, albeit not excessive acidity. At certain vineyard sites, shallow layers of red and brown clay induce more stress in the vines’ roots. The result of these factors is the development of a bit coarser, quite refreshing tannin. This wine is the exception, a light, almost rose style, ideal

From the winemaker: "’Im deeply convinced that the future of red wine lies—at least partly—in light reds. The kind you can chill. The kind that tastes like vibrant berry cordial, with juicy acidity dancing on your palate. This one’s made from two-thirds Kékfrankos, whole-cluster pressed, gently settled, then fermented like a rosé—though with a touch of whole berries and stems for complexity. The rest? One-third Kadarka, of course.
