Andrew's Tasting Note
Nose: very floral, creamed heather honey, clotted cream and raspeberry jam on English scones; white chocolate truffles and waxy tallow candles.
Palate: waxy, malty, honeyed and floral; more clotted cream and raspberry jam on dry scones; some green-grassy notes, more tallow candles and white chocolate truffles.
Finish: light, fresh and creamy; medium length, but very smooth.
Comment: this is a breakfast malt and a lovely expression of Tomintoul; fresh, honeyed, fruity and creamy!
