Foris is especially famous for their Chardonnay, but they also make some lovely and well-priced Pinot Noir, too! And how often do you see a Pinot Noir from Oregon that comes in at this great price? Located in a remote southwest corner of Oregon, the winery was started in 1974. ""A straightforward and clean black cherry nose," according to Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, about the 2012 vintage. "The palate is sweet with chewy tannins, a keen thread of acidity and a blackberry winegum finish. This is decent Pinot Noir at the price."
